WEAVED: Development Environment for Google Brillo and Weave

   Description

Created a web-based Development environment for Brillo and Weave as a part of Google’s 2016 Internet of Things (IoT) Technology Research Award Pilot. Developers could create customized applications and then provision them on their Brillo device.

Optimizing Community Detection Algorithms for Large Scale Networks

   Description

Designed and implemented an online tool to provide an optimal solution for visualization of network communities in large networks and compare different performance aspects of present community detection algorithms.

P2P File Sharing Application

   Description

Developed a Peer to Peer file sharing application like Bit Torrent in Java, that helps faster sharing of huge files among all peers in a network, by dividing the file into smaller chunks. Each peer has two threads of control, one acting as server that uploads local chunks to upload neighbor and other acting as a client that downloads chunks from download neighbor.

LockApp

   Description

Developed an Android application which locks application and data. It is more secure than other available applications as it uses Device Administration API to protect itself.

Won $3500 scholarship in ISV & PSI Video Scholarship Contest at UF
Won $4500 Achievement award at UF
Organized Megatronix, an Inter-college Tech Fest for 2 years at MSIT, India
Actively worked with Dumka Social and Educational society, an NGO under Dumka Catholic Diocese, India for 5 years
